Speak English Today
The Perfect Student
I want to speak English but I don’t want to sound like a textbook or foreigner. I need my English to be acceptable in business and for professional reasons. When I go out I want to be able to communicate naturally and casually as well. I will try a few lessons and see what they are like.
That is a perfect student.
What the perfect student often doesn't know is English teaching programs can be expensive and focus on profit instead of learning, teaching and comprehension..

Daily routine
My name is Mary. I wake up at 7:30. I take a shower and then have coffee and eat fruit for breakfast at around 8:00. I ride my bicycle to the office and usually get there around 8:45. I love riding my bicycle in the morning. I start work at 9:00 and have lunch at 12:30. I finish work at 5:30 and arrive home between 6:00 and 6:15. I cook but sometimes go out with friends. I'm usually in bed reading a book by 10:30 pm.
So what do you do on weekends?
On weekends I wake up at 9:00 or 9:30. I lounge around and my friends usually call me or I call them. I go to the beach for sun and surf and window shop on the way home. My friends and I usually get together for a great meal and catch up on current events. Sometimes my boyfriend comes over with flowers. He usually brings his camera and a song and dance.

last weekend
Last weekend I woke up at 9:00 then took a shower and drove to the mountains. I brought my camera and saw many beautiful things. I ate lunch at a cozy restaurant and walked above a river on a suspension bridge. I met my friend and we decided to have dinner together back in town. After dinner I fed some colorful carp and ducks. When I got home I looked at the photos, ate ice cream and watched a new movie. What should I do tomorrow?
Progress report
Your self introduction will give you some basic verbs to use in simple present tense. Your daily routine will help you use English actively and encourages more detail. Notice adverbs of frequency. Always, usually, sometimes, rarely, never. Last weekend shows how to transform a verb to talk about the past. What's next? Future!
free lesson #4
going to or will
If you thought about it before hand and made a decision to do something at a future time or place use going to. For example you decided to fly to the moon and bring back some rocks therefore you tell everyone you are going to the moon. If you decide at the moment you should use will. Hmm, it looks like rain even though the forecast didn't mention it, I will take my umbrella.
Summary
Now you have the basic building blocks for perfect English communication. First your introduction, then your daily routine. Next? Weekly and weekend differences and finally past and future.
Before going any further you should learn how to correctly and accurately ask questions. Native speakers rely on questions extensively during their early stages of linguistic development. The five types of questions you need to use are,
1. Yes - Is my name David?
2. No - Is my name David Meisterberger?
3. Key - What is my name?
4. Or - Is my name David or Donald?
5. Tag - My name is David isn't it?
Congratulations ~
